Adding extensive hero text to Kyoto homepage

The Kyoto theme now supports longer hero text and revealing animation on scroll, giving you more flexibility for your homepage introduction.

There are two ways to add extended hero text:

Method 1: Using the Theme Settings (Default/ simple)

This is the default option of Kyoto theme, recommended for short and simple intro text.

1. Log in to your Ghost Admin dashboard.
2. Go to Settings → Site → Design & branding → Cuztomize
3. Go to Theme tab and find the Homepage section.
4. Locate the Hero text field. It is used as the heading
5. Enter your desired text (this works best for shorter messages).
6. Click Save to apply the changes.
7. To edit text content, go to Settings → General settings → Title & description → Site description
8. Save and refresh the homepage

Method 2: Using a Custom Page (Recommended for Longer Text)

For more extensive hero text with formatting options and animation.

1. Log in to your Ghost Admin dashboard.
2. Click on Pages in the left sidebar.
3. Click New page to create a new page.
4. Add your hero text content in the editor. You can:
   • Format text with bold, italic, or other styles
   • Add multiple paragraphs
   • Include links or other content elements
5. Add the tag #home-intro to the page (important!)
   • Click the settings icon (⚙️) in the top right
   • Go to the "Tags" section
   • Type and select #home-intro
6. To add reveal animation, add an additional tag #intro-animateto the Tags section
7. Publish the page when you're done.

The theme will automatically display this content in the hero section instead of the simple hero text from Theme Settings.

Pro Tips:

• Use bold text to highlight important words (appears with yellow background)
• Keep your hero text concise and impactful
• If using Method 2, you can update your hero any time by editing the page
